Marissa Salett

My name is Marissa (Mars) Salett (They/Them) and I am a rising senior at Bard College. I am majoring in Studio Arts. I am also a club head for Bard College's comedy club, Brad Comedy! This will be my 3rd year as a club head. In Brad, our core group of 12 members meet once a month to rehearse for our monthly improv shows. While Bard has a pretty small population of just under 2,000, we have been able to keep up pretty good attendance to our monthly scheduled silly sessions! Although we have been focusing heavily on improv lately, we also put on one scripted sketch show per semester! We have a publication called 'The Bardvark' where we publish our satirical writing and an Instagram account ( @brad_comedy) where we post short-form sketches! As for me, I started improv in high school and have been an avid improviser ever since! I have also done sketchwriting, satirical writing, and just a bit of standup. While comedy is a big passion of mine, improv holds a particularly special place in my heart!
